Liverpool born Diane made her way down to Crete by working several years as host and guide of British holidaymakers in Crete. Paleochora born Eutichis is a Paleochoreote in heart and soul. Son of the kafenion-owner he grew up in the very centre of the village. Ask him anything about the village and he will fascinate you with many interesting stories.
Hotel and restaurant owner from the early years of tourism in Paleochora he knows the business like no one else. Involved for more than 25 years in activity holidays which he developed together with his friend Hendrik, Eutichis runs the daily business at Paleochora Nature and organises the transfers to the starts of the walking and cycling trips.
Historian and archaeologist by education, Hendrik has spent a huge part of his adult life in his beloved Greece. As a student he discovered the beauty of the Greek landscape and the many wonderful mulepaths He walked the majority of them from the Albanian frontier to South Crete.
Hendrik started a company by the name of STAP Reizen specialised in Walking Tours in the Mediterranean Countries. This way he met Eutichis. Together they started a program of restoring the paths in the Selino Region. Hendrik coordinates all activities and trips linked to nature in this beautiful part of Crete
